Security & trust

Your financial data, treated like it's our own.

You are trusting us with sensitive information. We build for that from day one, not as an afterthought. Here is how we keep it safe.

Your data stays yours

Your books live in your own QuickBooks Online account. We connect to do the work; we never take ownership of your records. If you ever leave, everything stays with you. We do not sell or share your information, full stop.

GLBA safeguards

As a financial-services provider, we operate to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Safeguards Rule. In practice that means:

  • A written information security program with a named person responsible for it.
  • Multi-factor authentication on the systems that touch your data.
  • Encryption of your data in transit and at rest.
  • Access limited to the people who need it, and nothing more.
  • A breach-notification commitment if anything ever goes wrong.

A human reviews everything

Delulo runs on AI agents, but they never act alone. Every categorization, reconciliation, and report is a proposal that a qualified person reviews before it reaches you. Nothing is sent, filed, or paid on your behalf without approval. And every proposal and decision is written to an audit log, so there is always a clear record of what happened and why.

One client is never visible to another

Each client's information is strictly isolated. Your data lives in its own protected space and can never surface in another client's books or answers. This is enforced at the database level, not just by policy.

We work at the financial layer only

Delulo handles bookkeeping and financial records. We are not designed to store protected health information, and we ask clients in regulated fields not to send it. Keeping that line clear keeps everyone safer.

Built on trusted infrastructure

Our hosting and database run on providers that maintain SOC 2 Type II certification. We keep our stack simple and current, and we design every background job to be safe to retry so your books are never left half done.
