Your information, and what we do with it.
Plain-language privacy, the same way we do plain-language bookkeeping. Last updated June 23, 2026.
This policy explains what information Delulo collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our website and the bookkeeping and back-office services we provide.
Information we collect
From website visitors. When you fill out a form or contact us, we collect what you give us, such as your name, email address, business name, and your message. We collect basic technical information needed to serve and secure the site.
From clients. To do your books, we access the financial information you connect or provide, such as your QuickBooks Online data, bank and card transactions, documents, and the details needed to set up and serve your account. We collect this only to deliver the services you have engaged us for.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and decide together whether we are a fit.
- To set up your account and deliver bookkeeping and the services in your plan.
- To communicate with you about your books, your account, and your requests.
- To operate, secure, and improve our services.
- To meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal or financial information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We may use de-identified, aggregated information that does not identify you to operate and improve our services.
Service providers we rely on
We use a small set of trusted providers to run Delulo, and we share information with them only as needed to deliver the service. These include our website host (Vercel), our database (Supabase), our contact-form processor (Web3Forms), the accounting platform you connect (QuickBooks Online, by Intuit), and our payment processor (Stripe). Each handles your data under its own security and privacy commitments. We never see or store full card numbers; payments are handled by Stripe.
Financial data and GLBA
As a financial-services provider, we handle nonpublic personal financial information under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. We maintain safeguards to protect it, limit access to those who need it, and use it only to serve you. You can read more on our security page.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we serve you and as long as needed afterward to meet legal and recordkeeping obligations. We use soft deletion and archival rather than permanent destruction, so records can be restored if needed and retained as the law requires.
How we protect it
We encrypt your data in transit and at rest, require multi-factor authentication on systems that touch it, keep each client's data strictly isolated, and log activity. Details are on our security page.
Cookies and analytics
We keep tracking minimal. We use only what is needed to run and secure the site and to understand basic, aggregate usage. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time. To make a request, email us using the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local law, and we will honor them.
Children's privacy
Delulo is a service for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we will update this page and the date above, and we will let clients know where appropriate.
